Feeding Program

Many students come to school hungry, hindering their ability to concentrate and learn. To overcome this problem feeding programs have been established at some schools to provide millet porridge for breakfast and cooked beans for lunch.

Students and teachers often work together cultivating school gardens to grow fruit and vegetables such as paw paws and bananas to supplement the student’s diets. More sponsors are needed to support this program.

The feeding program has been hailed a great success resulting in obvious improvements in student performance. KKI hopes to expand the range and quality of food available to the students.  With greater financial support schools can purchase higher protein foods for students.

Your donation will go a long way towards feeding many hungry children.
